‘Pinch Me’

Ten ‘pinch me’ moments, from the last seven years.

1) When I got to spend February 2019 in LA. A place that has provided me with much inspiration for RADISH. Always trying to bottle some of that light and dreaminess. While collecting all the ephemera and vintage along the way. The highlight was shooting our ‘I Feel Love’ collection in Topanga Canyon, at golden hour. Magical.

2) When one dream girl… Angie Smith (pictured here in her Luz).

3) ...dressed another dream girl Eva Mendes in Gracie 🤯

4) When our hot pink Layla made it onto the front page of the Guardian (with Pete).

5) Going all out for our first birthday party. Glittery RADISH planet pinatas, Flower Appreciation Society flowers, cocktails, music from Holly Holden . A belated launch party, with all the best faces (and a piñata that wouldn’t give give in…)

6) No, not a Girls Aloud cover band… but when Fiona from @shecanshedid asked me part of one her Brighton panels. Here’s also to all the lovely women I met this night.

7) A Cinderella moment a month after launching, when I had the chance to design a jockey silk (with help of our graphic soul mate Kamilla ) for the Magnolia Cup (a charity horse race at Goodwood, with all female jockeys). Not only did we get sat with Heather Small from M People at the dinner and ball the night before… but ‘Duck & Dumplings’ only went and won the race. Paired with a certain jockey 👀

8) When our Stella dress from our ‘I Feel Love’ collection, made into @telegraphfashion magazine. Thank you dear SJ.

9) When a few of our golden girls were selected to be part of the Hurr pop up Selfridges , when department stores re-opened after lockdown. I spy Bo and Stella.

10)… finally, if you’d have told me, as a little girl, that one day I’d design dresses and have a fashion label and people wore them. That they chose them for special moments in their lives, to marry in or wear as bridesmaids… my mind would be blown. Thank you for this moment and memory Lulu with her all RADISH bridesmaids. Thank you, to all of you that have worn RADISH.

Dance on! x
